Training:

Debbie started training horses for others at 12 years of age. Since that time she has started over 20 horses under saddle and has worked with countless others. Growing up in New Hampshire showing Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Driving and Gymkhana has given her a well rounded education when it comes to horses. Growing up in New England, Debbie was never exposed to 'Cowboying' a horse, and was always taught that training horses takes understanding, patience, communication and leadership. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest she has fallen in love with trail riding, packing and camping with horses. In 2006 Debbie was certified as a Parelli Level I trainer and she uses Parelli as well as John Lyon's and Wil Howe methods when working with horses.

Starting under saddle: $450.00 per month

Problem solving: $350.00 per month

$100.00 deposit highly suggested to secure a particular month and/or year.

Holly's Lil Cricket is a beautiful gray AQHA registered mare, born in 1997. Although she comes from working lines, and has been used as a brood mare in the past, she is currently used for a trail mount as well as a pack horse. Cricket is also the horse I used while taking and passing my Parelli Level 1 exam. She is smart, strong minded, yet timid at times - not a horse for the 'cowboy type' and although she is willing to take care of a beginner for the day, I don't know that she would be right for a beginner for the long term.
